Part 2 - The Swiss Passes

Descending into the cloud on the Glaubenbielen pass.	The Sustenpass provides a lovely drive along the mountainside.
South and onto the St. Gotthardpass. Turn off the new road (seen on the left) and pick up the old cobbled pass.	St. Gotthard statue at the top.
Turn between the buildings to stay on the old pass and begin the descent.	Nostalgia
Now that's what I call hairpins.	Fantastic drive, takes you back in history.
Louvered bonnet, connled road, hairpins and steep drop.	Roadworks keeping the road maintained. It is frequently closed.

Ascending the Acherlipass, heading east. The road atlas has it marked "difficult or dangerous section of road". They weren't wrong.	Single track climbing up the steep valley side.
The pictures don't do justice to the unguarded drops.	It levels out at the top.
Cows on the road.	Then a steep descent. There are barriers on this side of the mountain.
Still single-track. The hairpins are very tight. 1st gear, full lock. The Morgan needs all the road from barrier to rock.	Jeff on the Klausen Pass.
