Track Day - Donington Park, 15th August 2013

Donington Park is a great motor racing circuit and is ideally located for easy access from the UK motorway network. This evening session track day was organised by Bookatrack.com on the Grand Prix circuit. It was an open pit lane allowing for plenty of track time. Passengers are permitted (over 18).

The Bookatrack team are very professional and put together a safe and fun event. Overtaking is strictly by invitation from the car in front and driving standards are monitored. All drivers and passengers must register and attend the safety briefing before being allowed on track. Timing is strictly forbidden.

I booked a session with the instructor Stuart Jones. He is a very experienced racer and instructor and he did a great job showing the correct lines and explaining how to get the best out of my Morgan on this circuit.

This was a great way to spend the evening using the Morgan for what it was intended, in the company of people who are enjoying their driving experience in a wide variety of interesting cars.
