Loton Park Hillclimb Drivers' School

Simon attended the first ever Loton Park Hillclimb Drivers' School. The day starts with sign-on and a classroom session. The instructors talk through the sections on the hill and provide advice.

Then the class is split into groups and we walk the course, with the instructors, discussing the corners and lines to take. After this, there are passenger rides with the instructors driving and explaining the lines.

Then it is onto individual runs. The instructors are out on the key corners, video recording and assessing the drivers. Feedback over lunch, followed by more runs in the afternoon. Last thing is the final assessment and wrap-up.
